THE STORY BEHIND OWLPINE STUDIOS
An Eye for Detail
Owlpine Studios began as a small online seller in 2001 - a simple labor of love listing books from our home collection and sourcing interesting finds for fellow readers. Over the years that hobby grew steadily: careful curation, honest listings, and personal service turned casual sales into a reliable craft. Twenty-five years after that first listing, Owlpine has become a full-fledged business serving collectors and readers across WhatNot, Amazon, and eBay.
In 2020 we expanded into woodworking, bringing the same attention to detail and respect for materials to handmade wooden goods. What started as weekend projects and custom requests quickly evolved into a dedicated woodworking studio producing cutting boards, shelving, decor, and commissioned pieces. The two sides of the business - books and wood - feel natural together: both honor stories, whether printed on a page or revealed in the grain of reclaimed wood.
Today Owlpine Studios is a small, family-run operation committed to quality, transparency, and sustainability. We still enjoy the thrill of a great find and the satisfaction of a finely finished piece, and we’re grateful to our customers who have supported us from that very first listing to the studio we are today.
